Here’s are some tips on how you can prepare for a visit.
- Location and time:Make sure to plan your route in advance and leave some extra time for any potential transportation issues. Arrive at the visit location 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. When the visit is done, don't forget to clock out at the visit location.
- Dress code: Dress professionally in decent attire for Care Visits. You can choose casual and comfortable clothing (except for sleeveless tops and shorts), and it is not mandatory to wear a Homage T-Shirt.
- Visit Requirement:Review the Care Recipient Profile and the needed services for the visit. This helps you understand the Care Recipient's needs and provide appropriate support.
- Plan your activities: Know the visit's requirements and create a schedule with activities accordingly. This will ensure a positive caregiving experience for the Care Recipient.
- Visit Summary Update: Be truthful and accurate whenever you have to report information on the visit summary. You may attach photos (only if appropriate) to ensure that the family has a better visualisation of the care visit.
- Mobile Usage: Minimise use of your mobile phone until it's time to write the visit summary or you need to take pictures. The Care Recipient will appreciate having your undivided care and attention.
