Why are Care Professionals paying SST? (MY)

Homage provides referral services to connect you (Care Professionals) with Care Owners via our technology platform. Homage only has a direct agreement with Care Pros and has no direct obligation towards Care Owners for every visit.

This would represent an Agent model whereby the referral service fees (i.e. Brokerage Fee) are taxable, which is incurred by Care Pros for the usage of our technology platform. 

• The brokerage fee for each visit differs, hence the deductible SST amount for each visit is different. 
• The SST calculation is not reflected in the CP app payout and will be calculated by Homage internally upon visit completion
• The nett CP payout after SST deduction will be reflected in the CP's payment breakdown accordingly during every payment cycle.
